Meet Shaelyn Thompson, a compassionate Registered Social Worker dedicated to guiding individuals and families through the journey of grief. With a wealth of experience in retirement and long-term care homes, Shaelyn has mastered the art of providing empathetic and effective support. Over the past year, she has served as a Family Support Counsellor in a hospice setting, offering heartfelt bereavement counselling and end-of-life support.


Inspired by her family's legacy in funeral directing and the universal experiences of loss, Shaelyn approaches her work with a deeply personal commitment. Her counselling style blends strengths-based, person-centred, and narrative therapy techniques, ensuring a compassionate, individualized approach for every client. She is dedicated to meeting people where they are and creating a safe, welcoming space for healing.


With expertise in geriatrics, palliative care, and grief counselling, Shaelyn is uniquely equipped to support those navigating the loss of a loved one or facing end-of-life challenges.
